Session Five – 10th December 2015 – Norfolk Record Office

Celebration

imageThe last session this term began with a chance for the group to reflect upon their journey so far and to talk about the interesting discoveries they have found about the people in their case records.  Some participants then went into the Search room to continue researching whilst other members of the group continued their discussions.  Interesting conversations about psychology, looking at a video of St Andrews Hospital, looking through census returns and questioning about what their lives would have been like in the 19th Century.

Nora Gaston from the Belfry Arts Centre and Martin Figura who will be leading the creative workshop next term, kindly came in to meet the Change Minds group and talk through some of the creative ideas they have in store for our next exciting term starting next year.

The rest of the morning was spent in ‘Celebration’ with a buffet and mince pies!  It was lovely to see the buzz in the room with interesting discussions and a chance for participants to also get to know Nora and Martin.

imageCongratulations to the Change Minds group for all of their achievements this term.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in the New Year on 21st January 2016 at the Belfry Arts Centre.
